How Can Garcinia Cambogia Work?

We use mice and rats as research models because they are not only economical but they are pretty much like humans at the end of the day, but ‘fairly similar’ implies that we do still have our metabolic differences. This is a significant one.

One study showed benefits to the lipid profile of overweight women and another time HCA slightly increased glycogen resynthesis after exercise. At this point, I don’t think we can reliably say whether Garcinia has a clinically relevant advantage over easy calorie reduction and exercise. It seems to be safe, and it may have a part in helping patients eliminate weight by assisting motivation and enlisting placebo effects.
Dr. Oz’s popularity is lasting, however, diet fads aren’t. I confidently anticipate another “miracle” to supplant Garcinia at the Land of Oz in the long run.
